September Images

I find that I write songs best when I'm recording a demo on Logic. It is much easier for me to discover different melodies for the songs by looping the chord progressions I've written and finding what works best. These images were all taken during the writing stage of the project, however the kalimba part that I recorded for the Pumpkin Patch demo was actually also placed in the final mix. Writing music by recording my ideas has always been important and useful to me but this month I really understood the organisation that would have to go into the project too. Having all of these demos meant I was dealing with many different folders and files so I made sure to name my files very clearly and place them in organised and understandable folders. I separated my demos into each EP which I found worked well for me.
