Here is a clip of Ben recording bass on When I Look at You. It sounds exactly like the example I showed him and I was very happy with the outcome. This shows that my process of recording a demonstration of what I want a part to sound like really works to get the best outcome. I don't think that I mixed it perfectly and I think it could have been more prominent in the track, however I learned from this experience and improved the mixing of the bass in Dreaming Of later in the project.
